Handloom

Recognised as the most eco-friendly way of  producing clothes, a 'handloom' is a loom that is used to weave cloth without the use of any electricity. This age old technique occupies  a place of greatness in India's cultural heritage.

Currently the handloom industry is being plagued by the power looms and mass-produced textiles. Unfortunately, this spelt doom for the traditional hand loom weavers of India.

We are working with weavers in rural areas and doing our bit to ensure they sustain their livelihood. We empower their age old craft infusing it with a modern spirit without diluting its timeless appeal.

Artisan Empowerment

We have a deep respect for handwork and thrive to revive and preserve traditional techniques passed down through generations.

It is amazing how the artisans are able to do the same stich by hand every day. The process takes you on a beautiful journey of hand embroidery. For an artisan each handiwork is an exquisite labour of love and every buyer is emblematic of a better tomorrow.

We aim to make dying art of hand embroidery sustainable and a dignified income earning activity by providing artisans a stable and healthy environment, where their creative boundaries are pushed by developing new stitches and revamping old hand techniques.
